Explosions disappaered after upgrade to GTX 980/ update driver

TF worked fine on a GTX 750 TI (with i 2500k , 16 G RAM) , then i upgraded GPU to GFX 980 and upgraded my graphics drivers (now NVidia 368.22)

Now the graphics performance is not OK since explosions of missiles on Titan's simply are gone, completely disappaered.. I can't see any trails of missiles or explosions ??

Is this a settings-issue ? (physics?) or should i go back to older drivers ?

Sincerly

Nah, settings wouldn't be a factor. MSAA/TXAA settings shouldn't affect this sort of thing at all.

Thanks for the extra info, you were right to try the Clean Reinstall previously. However from the description it sounds like a driver error so I think a wipe and reinstall might be the best way forward.

@Roselinoo2000 It's certainly odd, but I'd try a clean reinstall of your card drivers first.

If you did a straight upgrade of the drivers after swapping the card, perhaps that's a factor? When changing cards you'll want to wipe the old drivers.

Thanks, please let us know how you get on.

    hi, thanks for replying.

I swopped videocards en then I let the Geforce experience program check my system for updates. The program installed several updates but i chose a clean install,

so it wiped the older installs.. I guess i can give it a try ?

There's no way that i messed this up with the video-settings (8 MSAA in stead of TXAA) ?

    Thank you very much.
