While playing Titanfall 2 my computer reaches 44C at maximum, even when fighting about 20 nuke titans at 1 time, So something tells me it's not overheating.
Got it, thanks!
This is only happening when you alt-tab the game, correct? You aren't seeing any issues like this at all if you don't switch window focus?

Well it actually happens all the time, alt tabbing just speeds up how fast it crashes.

Ah, gotcha.
I wonder if this might actually be a driver issue. I noticed that you're running into some LiveKernalEvent errors in the DxDiag you attached, which can point to a driver problem.
When you have the chance can you try doing a clean reinstall of your NVIDIA drivers to see if that makes any difference at all? If there is a problem with the driver that may help fix it. Let me know if that makes any difference for you.

For a bit I thought reinstalling drivers did the trick. But once again after about 2 hours of playing the game froze and kicked me out of multiplayer. Those two hours were glorious, but it all came to a very aggravating end. The drivers didn't do anything.

Thanks for following up. I'm sorry to hear it's still happening.
Are you currently using any kind of overlays while you're playing, like the Discord overlay for example? If so, can you try disabling them to test and see if that makes any difference at all?

I disabled the Steam overlay and the Discord overlay and also apparently disabling Origin Ingame doesn't disable the overlay so... It did nothing! Froze 10 seconds after loading the multiplayer menu. Nothing does anything. I am convinced now that I will never be able to play this game. Every new [Admin - removed] idea that shows up just doesn't work at all and it's been a month or so since getting the game and the whole time multiplayer has been unbelievably broken and apparently everyone else who has had this problem has fixed it and I'm still here sitting in the most unlucky corner of the planet with a version of the bug that appears to be IMPOSSIBLE TO SQUASH!

Disabling Origin In-Game should disable the overlay. If it doesn't there might be an issue with the Origin client not allowing the settings to stick.
Could you try clearing out the Origin cache to see if you're able to disable the overlay afterward? You can find more info on how to do that over at the EA Help site. Let me know if that works, and if it has any effect on the crashes.

Hey @Ybarraplz,
If you have the chance could you share a DxDiag so I can take a look? For more info on how to get the file visit the EA Help site. Once you have the text file you can attach it to this thread. Thanks!

I appreciate it!
Looking through the diagnostics section in the DxDiag I noticed some bluescreen errors, and it also looks like NVDisplay.Container.exe has been crashing. This might point to an NVIDIA driver issue. When you have a chance can you try doing a clean uninstall and reinstall of your NVIDIA drivers to see if that helps at all?
To remove the drivers you can try running Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU is a third party software so use at your own risk), then you can download them again from the NVIDIA driver website. Let me know if you're still running into the same issues after that.
Thanks!

I uninstalled Origin, deleted all Origin related files, restarted the computer, reinstalled it completely, and the problem persisted. If this actually fixes the game for you, I'm going to dig a hole and bury myself.

I haven't tested that myself, but if you don't mind giving it a shot can you let me know how it goes?

You might need to manually remove Origin from your PC before you download it from the site. For more info on how to remove it check out the EA Help website.
Once it's been removed you should be able to install the client, but let me know if you're still having some trouble.

Hi, I've been experiencing the same problem. The game randomly freezes in multiplayer and kicks me out with the message "Connection to server time out". I've tried a lot of things, some things from Google, YT and some from EA tech support, but nothing worked. Funny thing is, my husband is having the same game, we're using the same router, the only difference is he bought his game directly from Origin and I've got it via Steam.
Here's the list of things I've tried:
- Checked min. requirements on PC
- Updated windows
- Added exception to antivirus
- Reinstalled the game
- Disabled origin overlay
- Increased priority in task manager
- Checked and reset router, switched network ports
- UOtrace scanned (2 times) and sent results
- Cleared Titanfall2 cache and deleted temp files
- Flushed DNS
- Port forwarding
- Updated GPU drivers
- Ran Origin as administrator
- Disabled startup programs on task manager
- Played Apex legends via Origin (not via Steam) without any issues on the other account
- Installed Titanfall2 with my husband's account on my PC (that is directly from Origin, w/o Steam) and the issue reappeared (disconnection from multiplayer)
- Installed Titanfall2 with my account on my husband's PC and the issue reappeared (disconnection from multiplayer)
- Uninstalled the origin client the hard way (registry)
Nothing from the above-mentioned worked. Still having the same issue.
PS. I've attached a screenshot of the error I'm receiving, the UOTrace results and DxDiag if you need additional info.

Thanks for the updates! I appreciate all these details.
@Monad87 The UO Trace results look totally fine. There are no issues with ping or packet loss from what I can see. Just to make sure I understood correctly, when your husband plays with his account on his own PC he hasn't been running into any disconnections like this at all?

Does this mean our accounts are broken?
- 5 years ago@Rosemary225 Her post does seem to indicate that. And it's sad to see that this is an issue that plagued Titanfall 2 since launch.
To add to the discussion. I have found when my friends and I make a group to play multiplayer the issue comes up quicker than if I'm playing by myself. Just thought I'd through that in there. Hopefully it helps.

If we seriously have "broken accounts" then i want it fixed and i want compensation for the headaches that this issue has been giving me
- 5 years ago
@GregTheSpark I've already requested a refund because I still think the game on my account is broken, but Steam refused because I've played it over 2 hrs. Single player did work on my PC when I played it (and the campaign itself is about 6-8 hrs long), so in the period after the campaign I couldn't even know the multiplayer wouldn't work. Now I have a broken game which I cannot play properly and for which I cannot get a refund. So frustrating.
