Game crashes on launch "Titanfall 2 has stopped working"

When I launch the game I see a black screen for about 1-2 seconds then a windows message pops up and says Titanfall 2 has stopped working. After I hit ok the game crashes to desktop. i7 6700k 1...

    Hey,

    I've got the same Problem at Launch.

    I just trail and errored and killed 1 Background-Progress in the Taskmanager and startet the Game.

    It failed and I killed the next etc... If I kill the Progress "SS2Svc32.exe (32 Bit)" and the "SS2Svc64.exe" (I have an Asus Mainboard an it should be the Sonic Suite 2 - Applikation) the game starts normaly and I can play it without any Problems.

    Sry 4 bad english, I hope You can solve your Problem 🙂

Hello @kdpainter 

Can you try to disable MSI Afterburner? This article on the Titanfall 2 troubleshooting can also be useful.

@EA_Archi  I don't have MSI Afterburner as far as I can tell.  But I tried killing all of the MSI Nahimic processes and that allows the game to launch.  I gather this is some sort of audio utility.  I still have sound so I guess I don't need it.  Thanks for the hint.  Regards, kdpainter
