Every time I boot up Titanfall on my Xbox 360, the textures and sounds in the game get completely messed up after 1 or 2 matches. The textures on everthing either don't load all the way or turn into pixelated garbage, and the sound cuts out completely and I only hear tiny chunks of voice clips and music throughout the entire match. I tried installing the game to my hard drive, but it won't let me. (not sure how much room I need to install it) I can take a picture of what it looks like or record a small clip of video if it helps. Help would be much appreciated 🙂

I too am having this issue. I had about 10hours in game before it happened for the first time (this morning). The EA support troubleshooting advice didn't solve the crazy texturing glitches, but did help with the audio fragmentation. Just like tracsys and johnnylung, I'm running a 1st gen xbox360 that was sent to me by Microsoft after my original died from Red Ring back in 2008.I checked the unit for excess heat right as i was able to replicate the problem in-game, and it was definitely not "overheated" by xbox360 standards (believe it or not, it may even have been cooler than usual. go figure!). when I load the game after I restart the console it "Optimizes HD Content", every time. Perhaps there is something corrupted in my "HD content" file that a rewrite isn't fixing.I'm able to dashboard once the in-game texture goes to hell and the 360 homescreen looks completely fine. Why would this be the case if the GPU was the problem? wouldn't I need to hard restart the console in order to reset the GPU as well?Hopefully this is just a software glitch that can be patched and not a hardware failure. Any and all help is much appreciated. I just want to play Titanfall! it kicks so much ass.Cheers,Brian

Dude Let me guess you got the glicth during the trainning mode? What I did was I deleted the player data don't worry your lv will be there just u will restart the trainning but don't complete it that's what I did and it worked fine

Drcphd, this is a prime example of EA/Respawn incompetence. This information exists on their website yet IT DOESN'T INSTALL IT. FOR ANYONE. ANYWHERE. My friends that don't have any issues don't have this mysterious 1.2gb installed either. Mandatory or not. It's a myth. A spectre, ya might say.

If they were going to ever fix the glitch, they would have fixed it by now. I feel like I've been scammed out of 60 bucks. As good as the game is, the glitch is unbearable and unbeatable, it will never be fixed, and I doubt the developers even care or are aware of this annoying glitch.

You can't install Titanfall completely on your hard drive, only the mandatory files and the HD content. I will provide you several workarounds, please accept as a solution if one of following steps helped you to solve this issue. If not, please respond that we can look for other possible solutions. To make sure that no corrupt data causing your issue, you should clear your cache: From the dashboard, click on My Xbox. Select System Settings. Select Storage. Highlight Hard Drive Device. Press Y to select Device Options, then Clear System Cache. Reboot your console. Redownload the updates for the game. NOTE: Not all games have a Title Update File. From the Dashboard, click on My Xbox. Select System Settings. Select Storage. Select Hard Drive Device by pressing A. Select Games and Apps. Select Game Title. Delete Title Update File. Restart Game. Update. It is May 2015. I've had this game since Day 1. I still get the glitch issue. Respawn and EA should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

The timer has been bad throughout the entire known history of Answer HQ (I am a plank owner here, more or less), and apparently it has not ever been considered important enough to repair.

Weekends, there are very few Game Advisers on duty, and waits of two hours are *NOT* at all unusual.

Only when the on-screen timer promises 4 minutes or less does it seem particularly dependable, in my own personal experience.

Neither of those companies' people handle the peer to peer suggestions on Answer HQ, the game players do it at AHQ. I posted here about the weekend delays and the goofy onscreen timer. However, anyone seriously interested in the responses of the community really needs a separate personal thread of his / her own, not merely a "Me Too".
