I-9900K, 2080TI titanfall 2 frame stutters

Question

I just downloaded the game after a long hiatus because my friends are getting into it.

Unfortunately, the game has been relatively unplayable for me despite owning a high end PC.

Steam is reporting that I'm running it at over 100fps but its so choppy I thought it was closer to 20-30.

I have checked all of my drivers, everything has been updated and I've spent hours tweaking settings.

I'm a long time fan of the series and played on xbox during the release of both titanfall 1 and 2.

I'd really appreciate any help because the game is currently unplayable for me.

PC specs:

CPU: Intel I-9900K

GPU: NVIDIA TRX 2080TI 11GB V-ram

RAM: 32 GB

Motherboard: Intel Z series something or other

@shadowkiller012I've got same specs roughly, try looking through your Nvidia settings and tweaking them.

@shadowkiller012 Set most 3d settings to performance. Does the trick for me.
