[INFORMATION REQUEST] Connectivity to Australian Xbox360 data center

1. Yes can connect and play.We can find games perfect on any datacenter apart from Australia. The ping would be good at main menu 10-25 but every single time you searched, top right corner would show two attempts at finding players and than on Que, requesting new server and every single time error would pop up.CONNECTION TO SERVER TIME OUT. and would never get a new server and back to main menu you go.  i remember at the start it would search and you either find a lobby or it would put you in your own lobby and than players would join you. now it never even tries putting you in your own lobby for players to find  it just go's straight to request new server.

3. Dont no exactly but the first couple weeks the game was out i never had that problem, only had the datacenter ping saying 10-25 one day and the next it would say 65535. this was very randoms. but would get games and even had my own lobby that players joined to a few times.
4. everytime now since the 2nd update
5. tried 3 types of modems, hand full of cables, tried wifi. adsl2 Telstra.

Thank you for taking the time to hear us and examine the problems we are having;

1. Yes and No. Sometimes very easily, sometimes it may take 5 or 6 rounds of Server searches to connect me to a Multiplayer lobby.

2. Mostly during mid-match. (terribly annoying). Campaign, almost impossible to find a game. Most times will kick me out.

3. Completed rounds previously only in Multiplayer, Campaign was inaccessible until the last update.

4. Daily basis, at least twice in say ten rounds of Multiplayer.

5. Cable over Modem Network (Belkin), Telstra.

1. - Are you able to connect at all? Yes and No, 50% of the time it takes ages but eventually connects. Other 50% time automatically chucks me into east asia servers

2. - When does the disconnection occur? During match-making, mid-game, during the end of match report screen? about 30% of matches get the 'retrying connection to server' then kicks everyone out mid game. Occasionally get the end of game 'client desychronisation' kick as well

3. - Is this the first time in the game or have you completed rounds previously? Bought the game at launch, was generally fine up until the big crash of the Aussie servers a month ago. Glad they are being worked on now.

5. - How are are you connected (Details about wired/cabled, ISP, router modem and type of connection)? Wired connection, Optus cable, Netgear modem however my airport extreme router doesnt make any difference if i wire it through that aswell

1. 99.9999% of the time, no. ☹️ 

I select my gametype, then it begins seaching for a game. It simply says "requesting new xbox live server" and then attempts to connect for 20-30 minutes before timing out. 

Note: Using wired internet. My net works fine for all other xbox live multiplayer games and i can connect to those quickly with no hassle. 

I wont be complaining any more on this forum. I raged at the retailer where i bought the game from and got a full refund. Online game that cant be played online. Im just sick of this lag. Search the aussie datacenter and get no players found. Search in south east asia and get all aussies every game full. lag lag lag. im done with 1 bar gaming. Back to cod. LATER ALL

2. - When does the disconnection occur? During match-making, mid-game, during the end of match report screen? Prior to entering game.  It seems to leave the lobby to begin the game but then instantly says "connection timed out."

5. - How are are you connected (Details about wired/cabled, ISP, router modem and type of connection)? I'm using Wireless-N connection to my router.  I havve a FTTH cable connection.  I am in Melbourne and the data centre shows a ping of 17ms.

1. - Are you able to connect at all? Barely, today and yesterday server ping at 50. 70% of the time it sits at 65565.

2. - When does the disconnection occur? During match-making, mid-game, during the end of match report screen?  first 5 seconds into game.

3. - Is this the first time in the game or have you completed rounds previously? this has been happening for around a month. usually have to use asia servers.

4. - How often are you noticing a disconnect? 70% of the time.

1. - Are you able to connect at all? ________YES, to asian servers, last couple of weeks apparently to aus servers occasionaly getting full bar connection, mostly one bar connection on asian servers.

2. - When does the disconnection occur? During match-making, mid-game, during the end of match report screen? _________Usually after i select the aus server and try to search a game, exactly the same as superfreaky describes, even down to the random ping numbers, either somewhere in the 20's or at the 65550 or w e it is_sometimes if it does find a game on the aus servers it will disconnect mid game. Finding a game in campaign is almost impossible, depends on the servers mood.

3. - Is this the first time in the game or have you completed rounds previously? __________i have completed many rounds im level 50 G3, mostly all done on asian servers

4. - How often are you noticing a disconnect? ___________almost every time i try to search a game on the aus servers

5. - How are are you connected (Details about wired/cabled, ISP, router modem and type of connection)? __________wired, netgear modem, TPG adsl2+ - good net

 Patience was gone long ago im gonna do a superfreaky and return the game, no point having an online game that cant be played online.
