@ICA_Courier OPs logic would still work since it kicks abnormally high packet count connections NOT high ping counts.

- @CoolFerCats I was under the impression that the servers were getting hit with DDOS attacks, where the attacker sends an excess of packets to a server, which it cant' keep up with.
That's what was happening on the Titanfall servers - Titanfall 2 it's a bit more complex.
HOWEVER.
That does NOT excuse the complete inaction on EITHER of the games to fix the issues. Especially since they are still selling the goddamned games. They need to be supporting the servers every bit as much as any other game they're still selling.
I mean, the demand alone through here, Reddit, etc - you'd think they'd take the hint and fix it, as well as put out more content instead of abandoning the game a year and a half after it launched.I play Titanfall 2 on Xbox One. I wonder if complaining to Microsoft about a game that they are actively selling is unplayable on Xbox One would do anything. Maybe Microsoft (for example) would remove it from their store? Same with Sony and PS4?
This is *. I'm Jonesing to play and at the same time getting pissed off. Beware everyone about "end of life" of your favorite games or software versions. It's a business. You gotta pay to play. And these days you gotta pay monthly, annually and PERPETUALLY to play. There's a sucker born every minute.
I would give it a shot. If they're not aware of it already, they should be. Same with Steam. Orgin will be like pissing on a wildfire, since EA owns Origin.
Something needs to be done.
