Slow Startup/Load when playing mulitplayer

Hello, I have a issue when the game is starting for mulitplayer mode on the loading screen, my husband is already playing while mine is still loading for a good 40 seconds to a minute, I am always trying to play catch up when the game finally starts for me (I never get to see the part where we jump out of the plane ☹️).  It does this everytime even when he is not playing.  I have tried changing my video settings below recommended settings and resolution and I still have the same problem.  Does anyone have any ideals? Thanks in advance 😕mileyhappy:

    Mrs. Kim:

You can't imagine how happy I am to hear from you.  Many of the visitors to this forum have laptops like yours, with Geforce Optimus graphics, however, in their cases, the Geforce doesn't work at all for them.

The only thing I can think of that might be different between your nachine and his is the type of internal communication each machine has, and that won't involve the game itself.  You need a computer geek friend to check the specs on each one against the other, but the chances are really not very good that much of anything can be done to speed your PC's load speed any without spending a lot -- it's entirely possible one of you has a 5400 rpm Hdd as the main storage, while the other has a very fast SDD (which you nay be able to add, but it's fairly expensive, since it replaces your Hdd entirely).

  • Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply! I will be upgrading very soon to a SSD (been meaning to do this for quite some time), so hopefully we will see a difference.  Other than that the game runs smoothly, it's an awesome game.  Its a shame others have the same graphics as mine and cannot play at all.  I guess I should just be thankful I can.  Thanks again!

I've been mulling over the purchase of an SSD myself, but my budget for entertainment is pretty thin, and my ordinary Hdd is pretty fast for everyday stuff, just not great for games!  You may soon see a few PMs show up from here wondering what the difference is between their setup and yours!

  • I will definitely update if I find the solution and when I upgrade to the SSD.  😕mileywink:
