tf2 is superior in most ways but apex is better optimized and has better balancing and actual matchmaking lol
tf2 would run way worse than apex if the maps were as big and it had 60 players in one server so lol. but then again none of respawns games run well at all
@EbilraccLOL, Apex has horrible hit registration and server lags. I've played on EU servers and most of the times, half my bullets would go right through enemies standing in front of me. Like shooting blanks. Servers would just crawl to a point where it felt like Max Payne bullet time. It looks worse than TF2 and still somehow puts out less FPS if you crank up the graphics beyond tryhard barf mode. All those issues have been there since the begining and were still there when I last played it around May.
And with all the attention it gets, you'd think they'd be able to balance that one weapon everybody hates, the infamous Sh*tfire, at least in this game. But no... the memes just keep coming! "Better balancing"... sure... Apex is complete trash. It might be the best Battle Royal, but all those BR games including PUBG are known for being eternal full price betas with horrible optimization and netcode. So BR players are used to having very low standards. I refunded PUBG on Steam after half an hour of playtime, no problem.
Then why is Apex so successful? The answers:
- Free2play
- Bloated account numbers due to Smurf accounts
- Sponsored Streamer hype
- Easily influenced children spending their parents' allowance just to look cool in a stupid game
- Genre with very low quality standards

Git gud honestly, you just need to learn to aim. i rarely ever get noregs in apex. maybe your packetloss is high? usually helps to use ethernet instead of wifi btw.
of course the game looks worse than tf2, look at the system requirements xd.
also how you gon have a game that looks like tf2 while having massive maps and 60 players in a game????
also why are you expecting to get decent fps on any other settings than the lowest ones??? it’s a respawn game afterall. the spitfire is kinda meh in apex honestly, especially after the nerf lol
