Titanfall 2 can't start, 0xc000007b error

Titanfall 2 can't start. When I click the game, it shows the code error: 0xc000007b.

I re-installed the lastest Microsoft C++ (2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2015 version) in Microsoft website

I also copied and replaced dll files as guide in this topic: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Titanfall/titanfall-error/td-p/2473876

But it didn't work. How to solve this error, thank you.

    Hi @Kasarainie

    Were you able to try enabling NET Framework in Windows 10? Are you still running into that same error message?

    /Kent

  • I tried to enable Net Framework as your link. But it didn't work

    @Kasarainie

    Thanks for giving it a shot. Is it still giving you that exact same error as before?

    /Kent

  • @EA_Kent no, I have played game before. However, I must reset window to install new SSD, after that, I got this error.

    @Kasarainie

    Got it, thanks!

    When you have the chance would you mind sharing a DxDiag here so we can take a look? For more details on how to pull up the file check out the EA Help website. Once you have it please attach it to this thread.

    Thanks again!

    @Kasarainie

    Thanks! I appreciate that.

    Looking through the diagnostics section in the DxDiag it appears there have been some crashes happening with a few Windows system files. These are files related to Windows updates, but it might point to a system file issue.

    When you have a chance can you try running the Windows System File Checker to see if that helps at all with the issues you've been having? For more info on how to run it check out the Microsoft Support website. Let me know how that goes when you've got the chance.

    /Kent

  • I ran Windows System File Checker as your link. Nothing is wrong, here is screen shot, but I still can't start the game

    What do I do next ?

    @Kasarainie

    I appreciate you giving that a shot!

    When you have a chance can you try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that helps at all? For more information on how to set one up check out the EA Help website. Let me know how it goes when you've got the chance.

    Thanks!
