It is impossible to play Titanfall 2 multiplayer. The same hacker from Titanfall 1 has brought their serves down. You either can't connect or once you do there is so much lag the game is not playable. This is NOT a problem with my connection many other players have reported this.
Who's doing this?
As far as we are aware, it's still the same person who's been doing the same thing for the past 3 years. Their name is Jeanue, they've used many different Origin usernames, the first being jeanue. The current name of their main Origin account is xxxTitanfailxxx, and from what we can tell, they're now in control of the Origin account NtrlBornKilla as well.
The exploit has been used for years by Jeanue, which he himself lovingly called the "Atomic Bomb" in the bot's name when it joined lobbies and wasn't using the exploit to crash users. It's caused by a buffer overflow caused by the name provided by Jeanue's bots.
While it's possible to fix the buffer overflow, there's a separate exploit deployed since December 2020 which crashes users even if they have the Little Boy exploit patched. This will cause the server to kick the player, and so far we're not aware of a way to fix that issue. Because this new exploit uses more bots and has a larger impact while similar to the older Atomic Bomb exploit, I opted to call it the Fat Man.
Joining any global multiplayer server will result in speed mods that make it really slow to move. We have tons of reports open and EA/respawn is just ignoring the problem.
Yet I have yet to hear with sincerity That the problems are being addressed and how, arrest the * You say you have his accounts delete this does not appear rocket science I guess it is

@blitzcreed3 In all fairness, the new error code might be indicative of them actually working on it. Technically speaking, it is possible that while they are working on a fix they tinker with code that is necessary for connectivity to the matchmaking lobby. If so, that's a good thing. It could also be the case that they have nothing to do with it and it's just another sign of neglect. Since they aren't saying anything about it it's very hard to tell. All we can do at this point is to hammer both EA and Respawn on their official channels and ask for an update, refer to this forum and the many, many threads on server issues and DDoS attacks as well as other sources addressing the issues. Hopefully they'll spill the beans and give us something definitive, for better or for worse.

@Neil_Winters If my suspicions are correct, just hang tight for about a week. Hopefully things will be better within the foreseeable future. If not, I think you're better off spamming EAHelp and Respawn on Twitter. This forum isn't run by EA representatives in direct contact with technicians working on game stability, connectivity or general playability, as far as I've come to understand it. They're good people doing what they can to help out, but this is above their pay grade.
Edit: Also playing on PS4, also had a few regrets purchasing PS+ subscriptions seeing as my favorite FPS on the platform has been down and out for almost a year (I subbed a 12 month plan), but on the other hand I was able to pick up a few decent games along the way, so there's that at least.
