I've purchased this game trough Steam and created an EA account for it, but whenever I try to launch it, Steam starts "validating" game files and won't launch as it ends - just starts again if I try to launch. I already tried reinstalling the game, cleaning Steam and EA caches, repairing EA app and even reinstalling Windows (that's how desperate I am), but nothing changes. Please, help.

Try running the client and game as an admin Repair your game via the EA App - Repair (Library > Tile Dots > Repair) Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates Repair or Install the VC++ files for your game (Guide here) Thanks!

Hi @MasterReynard, To check do you have read/write permissions to the install location? If so, do you have any antivirus that might be interfering?

There is nothing at all preventing this game from running. No anti virus to stop it. I originally just uninstalled the EA app because it was always giving my computer problems now I cant even play a game I bought on Steam without needing to use this god forsaken application again. Please tell me how to fix his so that I can play the game I paid money for.

To confirm are you getting a "Validating Loop" the same as @MasterReynard?

Also, to confirm if both Steam and EA app currently installed?

hi im getting this issue too ea and steam have full permissions i dont have this issue with any other ea game on my pc its just titan fall please help

None of the steps worked, I put all folders involved in the exclusion folder so virus is not scanning or blocking apps.

i have found a solution the EA App is the problem it does not recognize that Titanfall 2 has been installed via steam the work around you have to download the original ORIGIN client and download the * off EA files from github windows will read it as a virus but I promise you it isn't, THIS WAS MY LAST RESORT dont try this unless everything has been attempted before

@MasterReynard Hello, if anyone still interested i find a fix for myself. I had a copy of game in EA app and bought in steam. When i tried to play through steam i got the same problem. I installed game in EA app in folder where steam contains it. EA app found the game in the folder and installed it without download. After that game launches from steam normally. Sorry for the bad english)
