Hi Guys, We have been noticing major crashes during the exit of playing titanfall. We get this every time we quit to the main menu.Affected Platform: PCOrigin Version: 9.4.6Bug Type: Origin Overlay + TitanfallAffecting Products: Titanfall & OriginProblem: Titanfall.exe crashes after exiting via the main menu. The Origin HUD is to blame as disabling it resolves the problem. dxunloaded error messages show which seems to point to Origin Overlay having a memory leak.Update 1)It seem's the problem is related to Origin's overlay/HUD. If anyone could look into this that would be great as it seems that directx is refusing to unload after titanfall.exe is terminated due to a conflict with Origin's Overlay system. I have created a bug report on the Origin Forum. Feel free to post their to confirm this workaround/bug.Any Idea when this can get fixed?ThanksOliver

It's the Origin overlay causing this. Never happens to me if it's off, always happens if it's on.

Ok I have disabled the Origin Overlay HUD as a last ditched attempt at fixing the problem, It seems to be Origin that is causing titanfall.exe to crash/hang. Might want to get some guys from the Origin team involved in fixing this. ThanksI have now added a bug report over on the Origin Forums.

ph020, have you disabled the Origin "In Game" overlay? Right click on Titanfall in your library and go to properties, and check the box for disabling Origin In Game. Does this solve the problem?

Back on topic, I have retested disabling the Origin HUD which stops titanfall.exe from crashing.I have done this multiple times to ensure that the work around is working. Now its the waiting game for EA to fix the bug in Origin to stop titanfall from crashing.ThanksOliver

We think we have traced the issue to a piece of software called Xsplit Gamecaster (I have filed a bug report with the company involved) In addition if your using overwolf or any other HUDs it might be a good idea not to have them enabled as this seems to be causes issues with the Origin HUD and titanfall.

Yup now getting this problem after repairing the game and disabling huds etc. Very disappointing ☹️
It seems after playing the game for a couple of hours the titanfall.exe refuses to terminate after the exit menu. This causes the crash resulting in the errors being shown. Hopefully respawn will fix this as its the only bug we have found. It's been pushing out crashdumps for every single exit and has amounted around 200mb in crash dumps.

gravitysmack3d, do you have any other overlays active perhaps? Fraps, or something like Teamspeak, Mumble, etc? It seems like this game doesn't like any sort of overlay, with the Origin overlay being one that most players will have on by default.
I also notice some mouse lag and increased screen tearing with the Origin overlay enabled, so I prefer to run with it disabled. Unfortunately as of now you can't invite/join to parties if you have it off.

Our Problems are related to d3d11.dll_unloaded, It seems that even after running the game in admin mode, repairing the game and all the only possible fix is to turn down all the graphics... ☹️

It seems the program is not unloading DX11 in a correct fashion which is then causing the OS to terminate the process to prevent a memeory leak.

Would be nice if EA could respond about this.

Ok, Just spoken to EA Customer Support, They have requested that i do the following.
Step 1) Uninstall Origin plus do a manual uninstall.
Step 2) Uninstall Graphics Card Drivers and reinstall.
Step 3) Reinstall Origin
Step 4) Reinstall Titanfall
Then see if the problem fixes its self...
I shall keep you all informed on how things are going. From what ive herd in another forum post one of the options is to underclock your graphics card however this may void your warrenty so it's not worth donig unless you are 100% sure you can do it.
