Titanfall won't install from the DVD

I cant get Titanfall to install from the DVD.

When I run it from the autorun it loads a pre-install screen then loads up Origin say Preinstalling then it only shows a Download button. If I click it downloads a 50 GIG file and say it will take 12 hours.

I bought the DVD so I wounldnt have to download the large file.

Is there a way to make it install from the DVD and not download load a file which is sitting on the DVD that I have.

Thanks for the information. It still wont load from the disc. I tried to copy the files from the disc as also mentioned in a later page on the thread and the files would not copy from the DVD. There might be a physical issue with my DVD's. I will try it on another computer to confirm.

I have the same issue.  I have a very slow connection because I live in the boon docks of West Virginia and Frontier has no interest in upgrading the internet here. :manmad:

I also tried to copy the files from the DVDs without success. I think that they must be copy protected some how.

I do not have a data cap so I am trying to download anyway.  After 12 hous I am at 28%.  I guess I will not watch Netflix for the next few days, or anything else online.  :mansad:

There is no single player mode.  The game is played 100% online, and requires a fairly good connection to play -- if you have trouble with downloading game software, you are likely to have a lot of lag playing, which means your pilot will get killed often.

Are You all peeps at EA so unhelpful or is it just You? What is the topics name? I have a very good internet connection but I wont waste my tranfer limit for dowloading 50 GB of a game I have on 3 DVDs in front of me, so what is the solution for it? Because if the DVDs are a prima aprilis prank than it wasnt funny.

The Answers HQ website is a gamer oriented discussion forum.  This is not EA Help Center, we are not working for EA here.  If you want official tech support, you must remain on the EA Help site to be able to choose from contact options.  Here is a walkthrough telling you how to do so:

Make sure origin is installed in the default location:

    C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin
