Title Update 5 SLI Fix?

The patch notes for title update 5 clearly show how they've implemented the long awaited multi-gpu support, but after installing it my PC doesn't detect that both cards are being used. Is there another driver that needs to be downloaded for this to work?

Yea I called them the day the update came out but they didn't have any solutions since I was the first person to call about it. I doubt anything changed since then and NVIDIA support wasn't helpful either. Perhaps we have to wait for a SLI profile from a NVIDIA driver update but for now I'm using the Bioshock Infinite SLI profile and I'm getting decent, but nowhere near stellar results.

  • I am also getting better results with the Bioshock Infinite profile/bits - for proper scaling across GPUs, lets hope that NVIDIAs next driver contains a proper SLI profile for Titanfall.

with those SLI Profiles you are only splitting Gpu charge to both cards, so thats why each card uses 50% , thats means same fps with no improve at all.

  • You are correct, either the new update has improved performance overall or we were seeing placebo  effect.

Sigh... it just pains me that I can run Battlefield 3 at high settings well above 60 fps and that I'm getting crazy drops in Titanfall on low settings at 768p.

EA WHY DID YOU LIE TO US?

Good news !! The official Titanfall Sli Bits (DX1x) is released !! 0x020000F5 (Wargame: AirLand Battle, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, TitanFall) and it scale very well !! Can finally fully enjoy my 144Hz monitor with my 680 SLI as both cards are well used !!

Update 5 and a re-install of the latest nVidia drivers did nothing to fix SLI for me with 2x 560tis. SLIbits for Default, Ghosts and BioShock: Infinite varied from not using the other card at all (<5% or so average utilitzation) to about 50% utilization on both cards (but not exceeding 50%, so framerate sagged from 60 most of the time to ~40fps average). 0x020000F5 (Wargame: AirLand Battle, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, TitanFall) is not available in nVidia Inspector.

What am I doing wrong? What should I be trying?
