Unable to start from Steam

Hello, I recently tried to reinstall Titanfall 2 via Steam and launch it, but it doesn't work. When I click play, It says "Running Install Script (DirectX)" (or something along those lines), a window in the EA App pops up, claiming to prepare the game and the EA app minimizes. Then, without even seeing the game once, the EA app reappears and Steam no longer shows the game as playing.

I have already tried reinstalling both the game and the EA App. but have had no luck so far. I would really like to play again, so I would appreciate some advice.

    Hey Gtoasted04​ Make sure to reinstall the Steam client, not only the EA app. Use the default installation path and launch both as an administrator.

    Try launching the game inside of installation folder, and from ea app, thats all I can help I encountered same problem and fix was just rebooting pc

    I have now reinstalled Steam and The EA app, both in the default path, moved Titanfall 2 from my secondary drive to the primary one (where steam and ea are installed), and launched both as an administrator, however launching Titanfall still yields the same results as before.
