Why not update Titanfall 2?

Why not update Titanfall 2? With Apex Legends currently facing a crisis of player support there may be no better time. It has been recently shown that it is possible to update this nearly eight year old game as an update was released August 2023 to fix the connection issues. This update brought in a lot of new and old players showing there is still a community. If a more expansive update was released this 2016 FPS of the year could break its player count records and be revived. Team Fortress 2 reached its all time player count in June 2023 over 10 years after it came out because of an update released that month. Proving that older games, that have dedicated fan bases, can survive and thrive years after launch, if they have support. By adding a more modern in-game shop and leveraging the success of Apex Legends, Titanfall 2 could be a very profitable game.The difficult part of creating an engaging experience has already been completed, the only thing missing is a little push.
