First, as was noted, Hindu, not Muslim.

Second, the court case had exactly nothing to do with what customers a business serves. It simply said the Green family could not be forced to provide abortion-inducing drugs to employees (for the record, they provide 17 other types of contraceptives in their coverage). The ruling in no way forbids these employees to get their plan-B pills elsewhere, nor were the Greens or anyone else trying to ban them entirely.

If anything, I'd say the subject deserving of parody are the knee-jerk reactionaries who pretend this ruling was some kind of war crime.

nothing to do with the update, and no law was passed - just a supreme court decision.

I merely wonder if it had been a muslim/hindu/non-christian religion applying to the supreme court would the ruling and reaction have been the same? Somehow I doubt it.

The decision would likely be the same had, say, a Muslim-owned business balked at providing abortifacients to their employees on religious grounds, but if it damaged peoples' multicultural credentials to criticize the decision (on account of a "muslim/hindu/non-christian" bringing it up), I bet they wouldn't be as up in arms over it. 8)

I don't know man... I don't even know where to begin with this one. I mean, obviously Apu is hindu.... Not sure if that mix-up will go over well, for pages to come. But regardless of that, I'm not sure how this court decision, which I refuse to research on, this late on a saturday night, relates to muslims, alcohol, the first amendment, Skinner & Krabaple, or anything to do with this game.

This isn't 90% of the forum. I don't know what this is, but know that I am this confused less than 2% of the time.

Now I know you think us mods are trigger-happy with the lock button, and I respect that difference of opinion. So perhaps you or someone can give me something to salvage the relevancy of this thread, so that maybe I don't have to lock it... Unless of course, you can recognize that it doesn't makes sense, or really isn't that appropriate for a video game discussion forum, and you can understand why I would lock it.
