- Hi, yes 'boatload" used to be A$100. But now it's A$129.99, its a total rip off and the amount of donuts required to buy premium items have gone through the roof. They should make all donuts half the price and then many more players could and would buy them and get the premium items they like

Totally agree. EA will actually make more money by lowering the pricesflyreel wrote:

The significant price increase is for non-US users of Apple's Appstore, and you see it with IAPS in many apps, not just TSTO.
Would try to get your hands on an Android device if you want to buy donuts.- During the Level 41 update, I spent tens of millions on bloodmobiles for the XP level ups. I posted my results here and someone worked out the math to be about $1 million per donut. So in-game cash, in a way, can be converted. Bloodmobiles give a good return on XP's; just buy a bunch (like a house farm concept) and keep leveling up.
- Oh, I got rid of/sold off the bloodmobile farm after one harvest though. (It's just unsightly.)

HI I am on Android and its the same price $129.99 so that's not right!- It may have been suggested before, but what about:
A donut tree?
Costs 100 donuts and generates 1 donut every 7 days. Sure, it will take nearly 2 years to come out in profit, but I'd buy one!
Add that and $10,000,000 in game cash for a tray of donuts.
Good ideas EA? - Its funny, but I was just talking about this earlier today. Now I see this thread and I totally agree that if prices were lowered, more people would spend... I'm not sure if EA would make more money, but they would still be making a killer profit and more players would enjoy the game without breaking our pockets as much. They are making a ton of money right now across all their various games, and so are other game devs and companies who also have ridiculous prices. They all should lower prices for alot of reasons but most don't give a crap about us gamers, they just want their money. I think EA should take the initiative and be the first to lower prices for in-game items and add ons :) Could happen... lol. If anyone has played Madden games, they should know a little more about EA's prices.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not bashing EA. They did a great thing after our feedback from the Easter event when they responded to us with a great new event and some much-needed fairness. The random donuts and triple cash for tapping friends at max FP is great too. These are signs that they care about the consumer. I understand the need for profit, but outrageous profit is not necessary for success.
This concept is really not that far-fetched and it should be something that happens in the near future, not just with EA. The question is: Will it ever happen or will prices just keep going up and gaming will become something only the wealthy or extremely dedicated get to enjoy? I, for one, don't make much money, but I do limit my finances enough to make sure I have money to enjoy games, more so for consoles. I've spent a little on TSTO, but nothing outrageous. I would definitely spend more often if prices were lowered... but with the way it is now, I would rather buy a PS4 game for 60 bucks and enjoy the crap out of it, never needing to spend another dime (yes, there are exceptions).
I think that's all I have to say about that. Who wants to agree/disagree? XD - I like these ideas. Here's another... The ability to set the lowest number of donunts. So if I set it at 5, then I don't get an option to spend 2 donuts on a speed up. If I want to change it, I go to the options and change it.
And EA, every spend of donuts should obey the confirmation setting :!: gocatters wrote:

Do you mean this donut tree? ;)
Or what about a donut bush?
