Some great ideas, everyone.
Some things I'd like to see:
1. Being able to visit friends should just reset, say, at midnight, so you can visit when it's convenient at least once a day, instead of exactly 24 hours apart.
2. Being able to place the cars on the road, and have them move around. This could even be a task related. Like when Patty/Selma work at the DMV, the DMV limo should be moving around town.
3. The ability to rotate all objects, buildings, etc 360 degrees, so not everything is facing the same two directions. Which would tie in to my next idea:
4. The ability to rotate your town 360 degrees. I've seen this in other games, and it's pretty cool. Being able to change your view of your town, tied in with the ability to butt things up against each other would allow town building/designing to be much more efficient and consume less space, plus be a lot more realistic.
5. That being said : MORE F'ING LAND.
6. More intelligent tech-heads at EA who actually knew how to build a stable game. For all the millions of dollars that this game has generated from players like me who buy donuts on a fairly regular basis, this shouldn't be too much to ask for. Instead of buying a bigger yacht for yourself, CEO of EA, how about buying bigger and better servers, and smarter tech support staff. And if the game is going to be crashing constantly during holiday events, you and your staff had better be sleeping at the office inbetween working diligently to fix the damn problem.
