3 spades per neighbour visit?!?! are you bothering?

I'm visiting neighbors as usual......though I'm getting hardly anyone visiting me. This event is not encouraging neighbor visiting, from what I can see. They are making mutant seeds too rare to get. We can only get 90 spades, so only 1/2 the neighbors will getting visits (for those of us with 100 neighbors). According to the chart, I'm way behind with spade count.
I'm not into my towns enough to get caught up, so I'm just playing along and whatever I get, I get and whatever I don't, I don't.
