Personally I'm still visiting as i can use the extra spades, then again i visit most days even when there's no event on.

It is kinda low, but it doesn't take long to visit 30 neighbors (you'll max out at 90 actions) ... And if I don't find cornstalks in their town within a few seconds, I move on to the next neighbor. What is absurd to me is the payout for the mutant seedlings. I only get 4 spades per seedling if I find it in 4 hours, and nuthin after that. If I drop one, I get 4 spades if the neighbor gets it in the first 4hours, and 2 spades after that.:)

I visit neighbours daily for cash, XP, and donuts anyway. If you don't care about that, I think it's still worth it to visit 30 neighbours for that little extra Spade boost.

I DO wish it was more- but it's not stopping me from visits- I like donuts, $$$$$ etc.....

Dropping seeds seems to get me a lot of corn and fertilizer.. especially when you get into a "seed war" with a good neighbor. I drop a few then I get a few dropped in my town.. adds up fast.Since this has been happening I seem to get more seed pops from corn in my town.. maybe I just am getting lucky, I kind of need the luck because I have not seen any doughnuts drop anywhere in weeks. :evil:

I can confirm donuts will drop while tapping the walking cornstalks roaming in neighbor towns!

3 spades per neighbour visit?!?! are you bothering?

Plus, if you're like me and getting probably somewhere near 200/day without the license, it can really add up. I like bonus donuts, plus the regular free donuts for visiting, it's foolish not to visit if you are freemium. :)

I was down to zero donuts and received enough donuts for a mystery box and got 30 donuts for my prize. I think it was worth it. 8)

Game keeps crashing on me when I try to do friend actions, or I would absolutely be taking full advantage. As it is, I don't have the patience for it, so I'm dropping seeds on occasion and hoping my device will get with the program eventually.

Your not alone since the update game will bounce back to home screen more so on visits. Seems I have neighbors hoarding their seeds. dropped over 50 a couple days ago and got back like 5. Some just not playing the event...

It's not the device, it's EA this morning i was able to go through 100 neighbors with no boot.

I visit neighbors mainly for the chance at donuts, so I don't worry too much about the admittedly poor payout in spades.

The bigger issue is this event relies heavily on having lots of characters do lots of gathering of corn and fertilizer, which is awful for players who haven't advanced to, or at least close to, level 51. Usually EA makes events more evenly balanced so newer players can do well too, but I'd hate to be a level 20-something or 30-something player on this one. I seriously doubt those players have much of a chance at the better crafting prizes unless they're ready to spend a ton of donuts.
