3rd time I've rec'd this notice this week

Never had one of those. For me it says something like "Your have 9000 items and the recommended amount is 7500" or something like that

Yes, that's the notice that precedes this one. With that one you still have some wiggle room. This is the kiss-of-death-move-out-your-stuff-you-can-no-longer-play notice :/

Also look online for notes about what weird items generate these warnings. For example railings between water and road tiles that the game generates automatically also count

@00becker good idea to look for bridges! I haven't done that before. I know I've got somewhere near 10k items because I got the pre-warning at 9100.

My device has no problem running this game so I'm inclined to believe it's an actual game limitation issue.

Also, I'm sure most people know this, but the notice I'm receiving today is different than this one...

I just discovered the transparent building feature the other day and was able to store a couple hundred hidden, pointless items. Hopefully that buys me more time but I’m a sucker for trying too much detail.

i make sure to remove fences behind buildings / trees (can look ugly in winter when the leaves fall), remove any hidden bonus items (training walls), remove bridges (unless this changed, they count as an item), space out any trees in your forest area, limit any duplicate buildings (SF heights), and try and create areas that incorporate more than one building to cut down on overly decorated areas.

The warnings start at 6400 and go up. At the max its one for one to place anything else. Its not device specific, its a coded limit. Bridges along roads that go over water count towards the limit...that's one thing that you can kill. I eliminated the bridges and got back hundreds on the item count. Also found I could thin trees with next to no visible effect, as many were hidden by others. Also hidden fences yielded me a lot. Hope this helps.
