Does the Infection Severity count have something to do with how many times you've visited friends, or how many times friends have visited you? I'm still at 953/1000, and the fifth virus spot is locked.

It increases each time you tap on a building that a friend has visited in your SF. You also get 1 SkyCredit for it.

EA really should have been clearer about the actual effect of this...I'm still not clear what the purpose was. Maybe we'll know at the third act? Not hopeful...
