A Different Approach

I'm not trying to threaten with quitting. I know that EA couldnt care less about me personally, but they SHOULD care about their player-base as a whole. I dont want to quit because I enjoy several aspects of the game. I'm just speaking my mind with hopes that others will join in and it will actually get us somewhere. Yes, there are other threads and posts similar to what I'm saying, but I felt like starting another one, adding a few ideas.

EA makes a ridiculous amount of money on all their games, especially sports games (such as Madden 25, which I outright quit because of the same issues I'm seeing here) and they dont need to shaft everyone and make their players unhappy for this game as well. Its obvious we are all upset about this event and the direction the game is heading, so lets do more about it; yes, create threads and post... but ALSO submit reports via email and use the live chat customer support EA has and let them know how you feel! If we overwhelm them with VALID complaints about the event and such, they will more likely do something about it. I have done all of the above, now lets all get in on it.

You make some valid points although I wanted to comment on the area in red that's not exactly true because while I may hate this event I do know there are many members of the forum that are actually enjoying this update

Fixed it. Thanks for the input. And those who are somehow happy with this event could always put themselves in the shoes of the people who were not as lucky and submit reports on behalf of the player-base itself instead of their own experience. I feel there are more people who are unhappy than ones that are content.

If you look on the bottom of the pop up screen with that color box, it shows all of the items possible to receive. It does not guarantee which of them you will receive. If you bought the box and received nothing, then you are correct, you should be compensated. If you received one of the listed items then they owe you nothing. You did not have to spend money, that was your choice.

Around here the kids in elementary school are taught a rhyme that I honestly wish more folks on this forum had learned at an early age: "You get what you get and you don't cry a bit."

You are entitled to your opinion. At a point, a certain amount of spins or amount of money spent, should be justified by guaranteed success or at least some other type of reward. In my opinion, any game that uses money instead of skill or grinding to reward their players is a game that needs some reparations. Main reason I am a console gamer is because I like to work at/grind a game and use some type of skill for my rewards, not just buy them. As I said, I dont mind paying for a game, but I dont like throwing money out the window to get a million pieces of fencing. Yes, I am complaining, but there is more to it than that and I feel I'm also being reasonable with my points. I see your side, but that doesnt make it fair to the majority... and fairness should be something that is implemented into any game, in one way or another.

I like it. I get why people don't. If someone wants everything or a certain item it would be annoying. I just remember its a game and it doesn't matter if I don't get it all. There is no point worrying or getting upset about the little things in life.

I think they should compensate everyone who didn't win everything in this event. People who actually put time into this should get everything like in the past. Why in the world would anyone spend time on something for nothing. Unfortunately there are some people who've barely won enough things to call all the time they spent on this event worth while. It's kinda rediculous. People who defend this event can't see the ground bellow their own feet. If they actually played the fun events and knew how it really felt to spend time on something to not get what they wanted they'd understand our frustrations with this god awful event.

What's most annoying is that The developers aren't even budging. They haven't done anything to fix this event which is shocking. I guess it's shocking to be shocked huh? But that just shows how much they care what we have to say. Tbh that's why I stopped posting my complaints here, or anywhere. If a company doesn't give a rats * about its costumers what's the point. If this the way they want to play it, I hope for this games sake they don't go under. But seeing the effect this event alone had on people I think that'll happen quicker then I thought. It's a shame really.

I am a completionist, especially when it comes to gaming. If I get into a game, I want to be up there with the best. Any game with 'chance' events is geared towards making more money. The fact is, EA already makes more than enough money to keep the game going and still have huge profits. They need more? This is where greed comes in. This ''pay for a CHANCE to get what you want'' is becoming too common, and its really getting old to folks like me who have been gaming for 25+ years. I would have no problem paying a one time fee to buy this game with the chance to actually earn the items that now can only be purchased with donuts. Another option would be a monthly subscription which gives you better rewards from everything and adding ways to earn large amounts of donuts without spending extra. The free players would then still be able to do what they do, and those who spend money would be able to get what they want from it. The company would still make their money, but would also be fair to the players.

Also, I do not consider gaming or spending money to be 'little things in life.' Yeah, I have a life, a job, a girl, a family... but gaming is something I live for, and spending my hard earned money on gaming is something I want to enjoy, not be disappointed every time.

Yeah there's not that many. I really like good prizes in this event. The buildings and playable characters are great. But the odds are just horrible.
