Yeah lol.. I'm just a noob. I was just overly irritated that day. Went on my rant and kept going until I realized I was overreacting a bit. I meant everything I said, but I think I came on a little strong. I just dont want to see gaming in general change for the worse, and seeing how things are going here at TSTO, it made me think about all the other games going the same route and dwell on it. I wish I had started playing this game in 2012 to experience the evolution of it first hand and collect the rare items from past events. Hopefully more chances arise to get at least some of them.
You are right about how you look at the event... I realize going for everything in the game is a bit ridiculous, so I have changed my strategy. I learned to live with the fact that I will have a kickass town eventually.. but it will not have everything. I really hope the chance events do not become a regular thing here. Once in a while is understandable, but hopefully not all future events take that path. 8)
