Agreed. I read another person's theory that one or two of those items (totem pole, camp fire, tent) would cost doughnuts, and due to the price of Kamp Krusty they may have held off until later in the month to release those, since the average doughnut slender probably wouldn't have splurged on all the items at once. Perhaps all the doughnut items for Squidport showed them many are only willing to spend so much per update, and they're trying to gauge or meet that estimation.
But I doubt they'd bother doing the programming for the items without adding them at some point, since there's not any reason NOT to release them eventually. I would think they'll probably release them later on in August, or maybe early September (sine after that the summer theme doesn't apply anymore...even September is technically Fall).
But as someone who has spent far too much money on this game and will continue to do so, since I've bought EVERY item, premium and regular (as well as all the Limited Time stuff, buildings and costumes), I'm always looking forward to additional items to vary my town further.
I can't wait for the World's Largest Toilet.
