Every time you level up, you need more "points" to hit a 5 star rating. Each restaurant/building has a point value. At level 28 I was able to only have 1 of each restaurant and maintain 5 stars, now at level 29 I need two Lard Lads and two Krusty Burgers to get my 5 stars back. So unless they release another restaurant soon, you're going to need a double or two to stay at 5 stars.
