The Dine Out Library Restaurants Are Missing

Today I went to place one of the premade restaurants from the library that came with Dine Out, but I noticed that they're all gone.
This is the first time that I've tried to do this since purchasing Lovestruck and updating my game. I removed all of my cc/mods and repaired the game, but they're all still missing. I've searched the gallery, and it doesn't appear they're available to be redownloaded.
Is there any way to get the restaurants back, please?

  • UPDATE: I finally fixed the issue without having to uninstall/reinstall the game.

On another forum, someone suggested removing the TrayDeletedItems file; which I did and it resolved the issue. Yay!

Repairing or reinstalling Dine Out should do it, I think.

I suggest that you first double-check whether they are actually missing. I found them in My Library fairly easily by choosing Lots for the Category, then choosing Base Game under Packs (to quickly deselect all the other packs) and then choosing Dine Out.

Here are the names of the lots if you want to look for them in the Gallery.

    • Sunny Side Up Diner
    • The Diving Pelican
    • L'Attente Bistro
    • Villa Bovine
    • Chez Llama
    • Hogan's Burger Bar

      Thank you for responding...
I did various forms of filtering and searching the library without success. So, I repaired the game again for a 2nd time and repeated the filtering again without success.
I also discovered that the Desert Oasis Bowling Alley from the Bowling SP is missing too.
I tried to delete the tray folder and let the game rebuild it without any improvement either. I'm at a loss.

  • Hmmm, seems like sims 4 is having a temper tantrum - well, at least your particular 1 is. First thing I'd be doing is clearing your cache. Easily done by just going to the EA app (if you're using that), then select app recovery. If that does nothing, do a complete sims 4 repair. If it's still not fixed ..... way I see it - and it's drastic, I understand - complete uninstall and reinstall. But do the clear cache and repair options first.

Thank you for the suggestions and sadly, I did the app recovery/clear cache and repaired the game again, but still have the same problem.

So, I guess the next step is a complete uninstall/reinstall to fix it, but I just don't have the energy to go through all of that today. lol

Guess we know what I will be doing next weekend. Thank you again for all of your help.

  • If you have a file called TrayDeletedItems in your documents folder, try deleting that to see if that makes them appear again.
