Mine dropped from 5 to 4.5 and I bought the sprawl mart. Didn't change. I had to buy a 4th KM to get it back to 5 stars. I think having 4 KM looks stupid so I hid 2 of them.
So if you don't like or want the sprawl mart, dont buy it. It wont help your rating!
