Only today saw a post elsewhere from a long-term tapper who needs this desperately. It is, after all, the only premium item that is absolutely essential. Anything else premium is purely optional, but a player cannot hope to get enough land as they expand their town if they don't own this one item.

I've written this around a bunch of times.. hope your charisma helps! Putting it in the gold box during Black Friday was not correct; as you say, it's the only really essential item for the game. I promised a guy with Down Syndrome that I would ask EA about this myself, but then I didn't!

There's limited and there's impossible to get. Addicts post today from someone who's been playing pretty much from the start and can't get any more land. Yeah it'll have been up a few times for them but they didn't know it was that important until too late.I was lucky when I started my second game for the xmas 2019 event, and it came up early 2020, so I jumped on it, but I'd be in a real mess if I'd missed it that time too.I could understand it being limited when it was new and so were the tiles you could only get for tokens, but that has long passed and it needs to be available at least frequently if not always.There's hundreds of tiles you can only get with tokens and the GGR only pays 2 tokens a day, so getting it when you run into trouble still causes problems for the player too.

There's something like 528 tiles you can only get with Tokens. A lucky player might get 5 a year from the Daily Challenges . . .

I'll redo my map sometime soon and you'll see . . .. . . but it's past my bedtime and I hear the Nurse in the hall !!

@1-Graham-S is right! That item was created and made mandatory years ago; it was conceived together with the method of unlocking land with tokens, of which it is an integral and inseparable part! It was normally put on sale, for 150 donuts, at least once a year! Then the negative turn ... it ended up in the black Friday golden mystery box, whose token is obtained only with purchases in real currency, but, for example this year, that box was full of junk and take the building in question was practically impossible!

A plea for the Golden Goose Realty as a regular feature in-store.

Yes, please return the Golden Goose Realty. I keep hoping that one of the events would bring it back but not such luck yet.

You guys make it sound like the game isnt intentionally "life-ruiningly fun".

They WANT it to be frustrating. How else would you eventually become "tapped out"?? :D

There’s no devs here to answer your question, but you should expect it will return someday, as it’s the only way to unlock much of the property. They are obviously controlling the rate of expansion with it, forcing players to design more compactly.

I'm happy for it to return as a permanently available item to buy, but I'd also be OK if they just brought it back in at least one event per year for its original cost of 150 donuts and not to be put in a loot box with 99 other things that would have cost a lot of real world money to have had a chance at getting.

After it originally dropped in 2019, it came back during an event in 2020 and 2021 for 150 donuts, but last year they really screwed us by putting it in that Black Friday box. It hasn't returned at all this year and I fear they're going to screw us over again.

@ObiWanGregobi89 - Yup. I started my second town at the end of 2019 and was lucky to grab it a few months later so by the time I needed 'em I'd got a fair few Land Tokens banked.
I started a third town at the beginning of this year and really wish the same had happened for that.
I've only got 4 rows of land for $$s at the top and the right of the main land map before I run into the Token Only tiles and the Daily Challenges for almost a year got me a whole 5 Tokens - yikes !!
IIRC you need 592 Tokens and because there's no other way to get that land the GGR is essential.
