- Also, if we could rotate the buildings 360, we could put them on the other side of the boardwalk, and that would solve the obstruction problem. Just one more reason for EA to add this feature. This way Brockman can lay on the beach and not have his boardwalk view blocked(I had to move him pretty far down my beach just to get him a good view).

I agree with this but I also think its a hybrid with a pier lol
It's backwards compared to all the boardwalks I've been to. Usually, the boardwalk leads to the beach, not the beach leading to the boardwalk. So , yeah I agree, it's a little awkward to work with.Skyrim-mrp wrote:

That's a good example, and now I want a rollercoaster for Squidport....- So what did you guys do with that awkward space? Any ideas? Photos? I put a playground and some shops but again I think why would they want to have a playground in the shadow of a boardwalk?

Gah! Me too, now! Maegnificent wrote:
I'm still trying to figure out how best to do it. I don't want to destroy my town buy moving buildings around too much. So I may just use decorations to fill up the spaces

I put a playground and some shops but again I think why would they want to have a playground in the shadow of a boardwalk?- I really haven't done much in the beach areas behind the boardwalk yet. The options for that area are kind of limited, so I have the basic lounge chair/patio table/bench/volleyball set up. I've tried to space out some of my buildings as much as I could so i could have a lot of open pathways and areas but no matter what some of my chairs and benches are gonna end up behind buildings on the boardwalk.
