I'm currently building the 16hours one, and I'm out of money.
:(
I'm at 36 hours, and I'm out of patience!
I'm running out of money as well, at least we don't have to rush!!Twelphe wrote:
wow that is just crazy! was wondering about hat as i noticed each time i make one the price just goes up! to have a complete boardwalk would take about a year to have it all completed! wild logic right there.
Unless you make friends and have them tap on the boardwalk type for you.- yes....plenty of threads about the 'tile glitch' don't pay when they come for free.....you can fill up the water in a matter of weeks

Yup. Out of boredom, I put down every tile possible on the water, minus spots for Sea Captain's boat and Mayflower, and I still have 250+ in storage.- I wish they would shorten the build time for tiles. This is ridiculous .
- Yea until Christmas is done I wouldn't waste $ on it

They don't need to, you need to just leave your tile floating and let your neighbours do the work for you!
Basically in your neighbours towns they see the floating tile and tap on it, they get lots of XP, but no money. This turns your tile into a handshake, but do not tap on it. Leave it floating and wait until another neighbour taps on the tile they see when visiting and you'll then get a 2nd handshake. You can collect the 2nd handshake and you've got a tile, let your neighbours keep tapping your tile and you'll soon get loads of tiles!
You can always do what lots of players do and creat a second feeder town and use that to help yourself!
There is a major thread here in this section, find it and have a read!
However, during the Christmas event you might find neighbours concentrating on collecting gift cards, so you might just need to be patient.
I've had the Squidport for ages and have only recently found out about this and it has helped greatly and saved quite a bit of cash and time!!!
Happy tapping
