A use for the Post Office

For this exact same reason, I wish for a Message board as a building or a decoration you could place in your town and visitors could leave you comments on it. You could of course leave your compliment on your friend's one. This way even all the other visitors could see, what people think about certain town. How about that?

As long as EA has some way to prevent everyone insulting some little kid who can't design Springfields that well. I liked the idea to start with, but you just have to look at the reactions on here to house farmers to imagine how out of hand things could get.

It's a shame, cause I'd love something like this.

Used to play Post Office when we were little. Similar to playing Doctor, but you needed a bag with a big box....

Well, anything public would have to include the ability of the town owner to delete or hide messages. Not sure what they could do beyond that, but you can already block and report people. And quickly make space for a better class of neighbor :D

Sadly thats a very valid point :( the mail/posts could b nasty or rude so doubt it will happen :( but they could put a complaint section in there so if someone was out of order they could file a complaint :)

I remember it being rumoured that the post office would be to send Christmas Cards to neighbours. Sadly that never happened, maybe for Valentines Day? Bet we get Ralph for V Day too. :)

Quite an easy solution - with a dedicated storable item, you can decide yourself if you want to put it up and let others write you something. And if you don't like the reactions, you can always hide it to storage.
