sure wish the new ambient (background) noises would shut off when playing the find maggie game. i have 3 springfields and have been finding it difficult to locate her in each of them now. it used to be fairly easy to find her by her sucking noises (have missed her on occasion) but now i keep running out of time... anyone know if the ambient background sounds are just for the thoh or are a permanent thing (annoyance)?

As much work that went into it, probably permanent.The noisiest things are the monster fights. Move them somewhere out of the way and you won't hear them.Go to your settings and turn the music off, then turn the SFX Volume all the way up. That should help.

i have had the music volume off and sfx volume up for a couple years now so that's a bit of a bummer.... for some reason it woudn't post my whole reply as one comment....

YESSSS I'm so glad that it wasn't just me! Don't get me wrong, I love the ambient music but I had to listen extra careful!

i dont always get the pacifier suck noise, usually doesn't happen 1 out of 3 times that the noise doesnt work. It's been like that for me for a long time. You might have that glitch

There seem to be only certain buildings she goes on, anyway, so I just go to those. I have the sound off pretty much all the time.

Well doh! It completely slipped my mind (big surprise considering how many meds I'm on lately)...
I marked all the buildings that Maggie can appear on by putting a distinctive decoration beside them. I was going to use Hail Ants signs but I didn't have enough at the time (I'm sure I do by now) so I used Rainbow Trees. Whenever I have a hard time finding Maggie I start looking for the Trees and tapping the buildings next to them. That usually works.
