Does anyone know what happens when you run out of elves? I'll have 9 left in 3 hours, not including the once I get when I enter in 3 hours. By my math, I'll run out of elves before the end of the day today.

You just need to wait for them to show up and collect again. I run out every time I shoot the cannon.

Hmmm, maybe it would be a better strategy to hoard the elves for a day or so? Or do you get enough every time to fire the cannon three times?

Correct me if I'm wrong, though... The Leaderboard is for elves fired, not bells collected, right?

My Leaderboard right now has Neuroheart in 5th with 873, myself in 3rd at 892. First place on my list is 903. I keep bouncing between 1-3rd depending on time of the day. Sad thing is that the last several times I've gone to fire, I run out of elves and can't fire my full amount. There just aren't enough elves. So other than upgrading bells/elf fired, upgrading my cannon's ability to fire more elves/more often is actually working against me.

P.S. I've got 9,827 Bells, which means I'll get AGM, myself, within the next hour after visiting friends.

The issue becomes shoot the cannon when it's partially full (and reach the fire x elves out of the cannon faster timewise) or log in less frequently/fire the cannon less frequently (and hold the elves till later when perhaps you've upgraded the cannon some more to the higher bells per elf)...the cannon will let you fire a partial load.

I have very active neighbors so I'd rather log in and clear the tunnel cannon handshakes and hold off on all three shots (sometimes clearing the handshake sets off the firing of the cannon so I try to always leave whatever 1 round of firing holds)...if you have problems finding enough elves but you haven't seen the no more elves message try synchronizing your game (this is needed for the tunnel elves to spawn for me)

I'm #32 on my list. I'm shooting for #41 because that's how old I was when our house foreclose back in 1991, and I'm fond of the number 41 ever since. So some of my neighbors are gonna have to step it up a little.

I'm 200 bells from the Sequel Store thingie, and according to the calendar I'm doing just fine.

I have been getting around 24 elves, so I can send out two full cannons and 1 partial cannon. I really don't think it makes a difference unless you can get enough cogs to upgrade the number of bells you will get, since you will get the bells sooner or later.
