I don't think having the back of buildings on display would make anyone's Springfield look better (does anyone even know what they look like from the back? How often are they shown from the back on the show?), but that's just my opinion.
If you aren't gunna read then don't comment you imbecile.ecneralc wrote:
Well I do agree they need some improvements to actually gameplay. They keep adding character after character making it harder and harder to find them all to put them on tasks. Give us a character finder already!!!! Lol
Yes a character finder would be nice.
I'd also like a "box entire Springfield" option something that ask you like 5 times if you are really sure about it first because I have boxed my entire town once before and it was a 40+ hour week long event.- I am also upset that my online chess game won't add a piece called the "kabobble" that zigzags across the board. And I'm gonna whine like a second grader until they change the game to suit me!

We need full 360* rotation of our towns camera view, as well as full 360 control on all buldings.
Are you talking about changing the game from 2D to 3D, or having 4 different 2D views of your town?
I don't want 3d life like graphics I want it the same only with the ability to turn the camera so we could have buildings that turn a full 360* the reason why we don't now is because the game is at a fixed angle.
I've never seen camera rotation with 2D, only camera pan. I don't understand how the perspective is supposed to change as the camera rotates and remain 2D.DogmaTriple6 wrote:

So many people have been using this sub forum to whine about the game lately!
I think the forum should be renamed to reflect that. Instead of "game discussion" how about "Game disillusionment":-)
But seriously, I've enjoyed the last few updates! No problems here!
+1
Damn someone is discussing a game in game discussion and it's not "OH EA you doing such a good job thanks for my submarine that I had to pay for, here's to the next 300+ donut Christmas update!" We need to change this category quick!
No, people just complain constantly on this forum. It gets old. If you hate the game so much that you then maybe you should just not play. It's a free country, the one I live in is at least, and you don't have to play the game if you don't want to. Especially if you dislike so much about it.
So just because other complain constantly you feel the need to come in my post and bomb on me when I have less then 40 total post.
I feel that you're the troll here since you feel the need to blast a newer forum user for something you say is so common but what's even more funny is theirs just as many people like you then there are complainers.
So take your 1000+ post somewhere else you troll cause you aren't brining any good here.
BTW how many times did I say I hate this game? Oh yeah that's right NONE.
Sorry I have feelings for a game I support and get no support back only more things to spend more money on and yes I know I don't have to buy it but I can afford it so I'll buy it if I want to which in turn gives me the right to complain about the serious lack of actual updates and just the addings of premium characters.
Hmmm, all I did was agree with someone else's post. Then you made a snide remark and I made one back. Now there is this post. I'm not really sure what to think about this new post.- Hello OP
I feel your pain.
The one thing about these forums, that I've learned, is there are a whole lot of people who become terribly offended if someone tries to post constructive criticism. My whole adult life has been spent having to accept critiques of my work. No matter how the criticism is couched here, the exact same people are offended and act like they are on the EA payroll.
One of the best ways to insure that positive improvements are implemented, is when there is a chorus of squeaky wheels.
Rarely, if ever, is it beneficial to stand by idly "hoping" that things will get better on their own.
Many of your complaints are valid and there is no reason why a group of talented computer geeks could not build a 360 degree view. Fences should not have the big space on one side, it makes no sense. Parking spaces that you can't put a car on or turn it to suit ones design are illogical. I could elaborate but you get the picture.
Good luck trying to get the apologists to grasp your frustration. Pull_Up_A_Chair wrote:

360 degree view
I don't understand how this works where the perspective changes as the camera rotates in 2D. I couldn't find any examples. Are there any games that do this?- What kind of gameplay does this game even have? Homer said it himself "You just tap and wait and tap and wait!" Sounds like you want interface and usability changes which I don't ever expect.

Do you own a Playstation or an X-Box or anything Nintendo? I'm not trying to be an *, seriously, many games have 360* ability. I'm not a code writer nor am I a game developer but I've played a lot of video games and it's fairly common to be able to shift camera views. From single shooter games to platform games. A good example is Black Ops or The Zelda series.
As it is, our Springfields are fixed, no ability to change views.
