Any bonus XP with purchasing the Tar Pit and Lizard guy?

No, there is no bonus. However, it is a premium character (1.5x money and exp rate for his tasks) and a premium payout 8 building (about 1.5x the normal rate for an 8 hour building).

A bit expensive for a premium character, but not the worst deal ever.
