- Yes. CONSTANTLY. Uninstalled and reinstalled on iPad with absolutely no improvement. I can play without any issues on my iPhone if I want to squint at the tiny screen, which I do not. Super frustrated.
- thanks for your quick reply, neuroheart!
that sucks im sry to hear it.. im goin to give it a shot anyways, but I figure it wont help.
it seems that everytime we get an update, I have to reinstall, and everytime updates go away I have to reinstall.. its gettin quite old, but not as old as the Crashes...
Just crashed while I was idling typing this reply... - yup.. it helps to hear that its both iOS and Android..
here we go again EA................... let the crash report and email support spam beginnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! - TSTO runs perfectly on my iPad Air ... except for the Bart's screen to tap Retry when login.
- I can't get into my game right now. Going to reinstall when I get home.
- Sorry to hear you folks are having trouble. The weird thing is the crashing problem seems to affect certain devices from all manufacturers (iPad, Android phones/tablets, Samsung). Normally I'd think it was a problem with the software, yet it runs fine for most people (I've never had a problem running the game on my old iPhone 4 or my new 5S). And someone else mentioned they had no problems with their iPhone, yet did on their tablet. It's very strange.
- I get the Bart screen, then 4-6 crashes inside 10 mins, then stabilizes for 30 mins or more.
- Yes.
The ticket I filed got escalated all the way to tier 3. I don't expect to hear anything back.
I also love how they want you to download and install some random software to check your connection. I flat out told them I do not do that on my Windows machine and then ran the same tests from the command line. If anyone gets to that point with EA, PM me and I'll give you instructions how to do it.
I think I'll open up another ticket like they said to check on the status of my first ticket. - I had never had issues until this past update. Now I get the Bart screen every time I start the game and have had it crash at least twice each time I go through my neighbors. I am also having the same issue with the Family Guy game. It always crashes the first time I try and load, then it is fine. This makes me think that it may be a machine issue for me.
- I'm good actually but has anyone who regularly experiences issue look Into their connection? I have a problem with my wifi once in great while. Rebooting the cable modem and router usually helps. Over the past weekend that didn't help so I turned wifi off and played through 4g just fine. The next day wifi was back to normal, so I assume there was something goofy with my ISP.
