Anyone else crashing even more now?

Glad to see its not just me..

its starting to sound like this is quite abit wide spread.. I hope they can fix these small things soon before adding more stuff onto the pile..

No not any more than usual.

Horrible. Cleared one set of handshakes and crashed. On the up-side, at least I HAVE a set of handshakes. First one all day. (Waves at Mcduck) I went back in to see if I had any more, and crashed.

Not even getting notifications any more.

Anyone else having trouble getting the "Retry" BUTTON itself to work? I have to tap it about five times to get it to highlight. The irony is thick.

I'm not playing any more tonight. (NEVER thought I'd be saying THAT.)

Off to buy more novels. So many mystery writers. So much free time. Thank God for Kindle books.

Okay, it's officially gotten worse since I reinstalled. Sad face.

my retry button has always taken a few taps to go through, like its lagging then comes out of it.

mine got a wee bit better, or so it seems soo far.. I was able to set all my Characters without it crashing.. *knocks on wood*

It runs better on the boyfriend's old iPad. (By which I mean it's been open for five whole minutes and not crashed. I assigned tasks and bet on the dog races and everything. Still crashes after about a dozen neighbors, though.)

I was able to get in once in the past fortnight, only to face the endless Retry loop over and over again. Even if I do get in, I get booted after 5 mins.

I have that problem ... it is my router that is the culprit, just haven't got around to replacing it yet. It also means that on opening the web browser on my PC, the home page doesn't load and I have to hit refresh.

As far as the crashing goes, since Halloween last year (when I had an issue with a corrupted account on Origin) it hasn't been an issue at all on my iPad Air. Whenever it does start crashing I simply force close TSTO and the other apps that are frozen in the background (the number of which builds up surprisingly quickly) and the problem goes away.

Being convinced that it isn't a device issue just because it is a powerful all-singing, all-dancing affair (as mine is) is a little shortsighted because the device specs are not necessarily the driver for how it behaves at any particular time. In particular where a player's game works fine on one device and not on another, it does point to some issue with the device rather than the game.

These threads highlight just how difficult it is to solve problems like this ... not everyone is suffering problems, the problems manifest in different ways for different users, and some of the problems undoubtedly will be with individual devices rather than the game itself.

Where EA fails to cover itself in glory is its lack of communication on bugs and issues. However, as we saw with the lag issue at the end of the Easter event, where there is an obvious problem that clearly affects all players in the same way, EA do get on and fix it pretty quickly (and compensate with donuts).
