Anyone gotten Friend D'nuts since event start?

I got a donut and a spade at the same time so dont really know how much truth there is to that. Though i am wondering if my spade count goes down even if the neighbor is not in the event yet or have ...

Has anyone gotten doughnuts from visiting friends once you exhaust tapping mutant corn for spades?

I just went through my 100 neighbors and after my taps switched from spades to XP, no d'nuts, which is certainly possible, but with the quirkiness of this release, and the bugs that seemed to come with it, I wondered....

anyone?
