Anyone using donuts for #1 tasks?

Nope. Too early for that. If it gets down to the end it looks like I'm going to be a little short, then maybe. It all depends on where I stand at that point. But right now I'm just playing watch and wait. :)

No, I haven't used any donuts for any tasks.

I'm at 10000 emblems at the moment so I'm confident I'll get all the prizes in time without using donuts.

I agree with above posts. When it gets close to the end, and it looks like it ain't gonna happen, would be the time to decide how many donuts you would have been willing to pay for that Satan's Anvil if it was in the buy menu.

Also, I'd weigh how many donuts you need to pay for rushing that task vs how many you'd need to pay for a treasure chest and rush that multiple times ... Keeping in mind that it ALSO pays out a few times a day on its own. ... I have no clue if a comparison is even reasonably close, but might be worth a look.

Don't do it until the end if you have enough donuts

Thought about it when i was gonna miss my 400 bonus by 1 hr, but then came tom my senses and realized how ridiculous it would be.

According to the chart, I have a nice cushion and i am ahead on emblems.

Seems like it would be WAY cheaper to just spend the donuts on unlocking the prizes, since speeding those tasks is so costly. I haven't actually done the calculations, so I could be wrong, but I've seen the option to "get it now" for about thirty donuts, where speeding a prophesy costs more than that.

I'm seeing 110 donuts to speed up to get 2,000 emblems to get the fifth prize and that's after already earning, it's sure to be a lot steeper for speeding up the next prizes. You are looking at potentially a boatload of donuts if not more to collect the prizes legitimately through donuts. And that doesn't help you with the daily riddle prizes which would require a daily wait in addition to the donuts.

Well, it depends on how many emblems.

So, for example, I need just over 1100 emblems to get the next prize (Burns skin and money pool) and it would cost me 65 donuts. On the other hand, to speed up my final prophesy task (three hours left) would cost 30 donuts. This particular task would get me 400 emblems, but all the prophesy tasks cost like ten donuts per hour to speed up, regardless of which reward you're on. In any case it's cheaper, per emblem, to unlock prizes rather than speeding the tasks.
