I think I'll upgrade to level 4 (so I can have two earning groups for each thing) and then look more closely at the math, I don't know how much corn each person can get per task, it's different in different towns wirh different characters and at that point the upgrades might be too costly (ie if I'm spending 1000 corn to earn 500 corn by the end of the phase it's not worth it but that's just random numbers plucked from the sky). It might be different in lower level towns than towns full of premium characters (ie you might need more groups (ie higher Mansarno level) working so you can't craft as much
