- I don't mind it.
The daily changeover is 6pm for me locally, so I get all my Monorail tasks out the way before bed. Then in the morning, I can have those characters help out with S Heights still.
The payout cap is frustrating, but as it disappears once you have the last prize (around the 21st for me), I'll still have a couple of days to max out extra tracks from the "bonus" prizes. That's what had me annoyed mainly - having a Monorail but only 80 track pieces from the prizes (over the whole event!!).
I'd give it a 6.5/10.
...But if I didn't have SHeights to go on with, it'd be boring as heck!! :( - I like the monorail but this doesn't feel like an event. I give it a 2.5 yawns out of 5.
- Actually, no. I have two serious problems with it: the Lyle Lanley tease and the too-low project cap. If Lyle and his fantastic hat trick animation come back, it might be salvageable, but right now I'm just annoyed. (Add the fact that there are very few donut opportunities and dumping garbage on a building doesn't animate it like haunting, spying, or reporting did, and there's very little about this event to keep me motivated.)
- not really but that's probably because i never wanted the monorail in the game so when it's over i might just store everything
will be annoying if they release lyle as a premium although i feel they won't release him at all out of respect to phil hartman
if they do bring him back as playable the door is open for lionel hutz to be added to the game - I was off for four months so between SH and I have Mono("cough"} rail issues I think I'm actually 6 months behind everybody else. Ok, boo hoo hoo. Got it!

+1 :D- been playing a couple of days now and have decided that no I don't like this event. I like the monorail but the practicalities of the event leave me cold. The jobs to get currency for track are too short. I can't play for long continuous periods so am finding it difficult. The constant crashing has been a problem but I've solved that by not playing for an hour before visiting neighbours so that no collections are due which appear to be what causes the crash. What that does mean is that when I'm visiting neighbours I can't collect currency during that period which is my evening game play time. So it's a choice of visiting neighbours or playing for currency. Also lack of items to buy unless you want to spend donuts.
The whole event has been ill thought out and is too full of bugs. - Im fine with it now that we have figured it out with the 4500 BP per day.
But it was really irritating at the start with "it's a glitch" "no, its not" "yes it is" combined with different information from EA support, and a lot of people spending a lot of time calculating and guessing.
It would have been much less disturbance if EA just would have said that "you have collected maximum amount of BPs for today (4500)", instead of this Sebastian is tired, which most of us (eh... I) didn't understand.
Communication, communication, communication. Saves a lot of frustration and misunderstanding. - good event but not enjoying,because bags and projects...

The project board is not really an issue for me, I'm sure they will fix it, they always do, or they will implement something to get everything back on track. I've been spending a lot of time decorating and rearranging my town, so I do really like this update, mainly because everything so far looks GREAT!
And the extra time to enjoy the rest of the Summer, even better.
