Back from the future part 1

I got the Lovejoy residence with daughter & part of the Back From The Future part 1 it asks to tap on Homer 10 times, which sounds simple enough but I can't do it to pass this part of the task to get the Jebadiah statue! Can anyone help pls??

    Put Homer on his 45 second task to play on his myPad or whatever it is and tap while he's on task.

      This is happening to me as well - I put him on multiple 6 second jobs and tapped him and it didn’t work - any other ideas?

        Do it with a longer job, like the 45 second one mentioned above or even longer
        That 6 second task doesn't leave much time before you're collecting to try and get 10 taps in.
