I couldn't agree more. I talked to a rep today whose accent made him sound unfriendly and his lack of game knowledge was frustrating but we were laughing by the end of the call. My problem didn't get resolved but I did find out my case was still in the queue.

EA is a US company based out of Redwood City, California. Like so many US companies, they have outsourced their customer service in recent years to other countries. They are not malicious, they just don't understand the game, and from my experience, some struggle with English. A bit of patience and politeness goes a long way.
