Yeah, sorry, but something sucking isnt excused because technology advances. By that logic, the second world war was just a slight kerfuffle and the eruption of pompei was little more than a minor expulsion of firey death. Do people complain on here a little too much? Sure. But the "it could be worse" mantra is the marshmallow of platitudes, tasty and easily digestible, but UTTERLY insubstantial.
