been given 200 donuts and dont know why?

I noticed that I was gifted 200 doughnuts last night. I quickly decided to spend them before they disappeared (hello Mr. Plow, Observatory and Burns limo!).

To locate the provenance of this largess, I checked my email to see if I had an iTunes receipt (thinking that maybe it was a really delayed purchase going through from when my game crashed a month ago) but there was nothing.

I too had a case open with EA, so maybe it was in relation to that....

No complaints from this corner, I can tell you that!

I just logged on and I DID NOT receive 200 free donuts. I guess the only thing for me to do is refuse to read any of your posts above explaining why some people got them and start 20 or so new threads on the boards complaining that I didn't get them and demanding that EA give me donuts and the iStore give me back my money!

I got the sixty donuts as well, without the explanatory email. I had contacted them on the first day of mystery stockings when I had the insta-crash problem for about a day. (game crashed within seconds of town opening).
At least it now seems there was a reason for the donuts. I had 100 from stockings, so immediately bought Otto. Thanks EA!
