Totally worth it, but it's questionable whether you'll be able to get that much goo in a short time, especially if a lot of your neighbors already have the update, as you won't be able to visit them. It probably won't take long before you have to update in order to keep playing, so it may well be a waste of time to attempt that much goo collection. If there was still a day to go, I'd advise full steam ahead, but as there isn't I'd advise not worrying about it.

Damn... It automatically updated. Oh welll. Another (2) questions though... Does anyone know what happens with characters who are still hunting goo? And the graveyard and ghost wall??

You get cash from the graveyards and ghost walls

Ghost generators will turn into cash generators. No idea on the goo-specific tasks :?

Goo-specific tasks that are in progress when you do the update just give you cash when they complete.

I've got the update, it's there. It can be finicky, though, I've had to reinstall in the past.

You could get up to 5 donuts if you made sure you only had around 50k dollars on your bank account. ..
Then when you had tapped one box you would get the option to tap an extra box if you paid 50k for it...
Pretty sweet deal which I took advantage of as many times possible. ..

Pretty sure the maximum you can get from those boxes was 3 donuts
