- I picked Stonecutters because that was the best event I was here for. But I have no doubt some of the older events were more fun.
Also people actually picked Easter...

Halloween 2013 was my first event, so I chose that.
That was my first event, too. It was quite good, but not my favorite.- I had to vote for Halloween 2014, with Stonecutters coming in a close second. As I mentioned in a prior thread, I really enjoyed the mechanics of the prize construction and feeling like there was always something to do for the event regardless of when I jumped on. I didn't find the actual prizes as interesting as most other events, but I still enjoyed the event so much that I kept playing even after I got multiples of most craft items. Plus, I got a ridiculous amount of donuts over the course of the event, and I was able to get a nice boost in my multiplier from crafting so many Spooky Walls. By comparison, the Christmas 2014 event was not nearly as fun, especially the second half - there were long periods where there was just nothing to do.
- Stonecutters-relevant buildings that still have tasks assigned to them and getting to see buildings animate was fun (the kid's ride at the try and save, the DNA helix at the Knowledgeum, The lights on the Bad Dream House), the only negative thing was the daily tasks being on a fixed 24 hour clock (although I wish the stonecutter robes would have kept paying out slightly more than the normal skins)
- We didn't experience certain events therefor we are voting for what we know...uh huh, sure  What would we know about good events and bad events, what would we know about what we like in events and what wasn't such a good idea, what would we know about what we INDIVIDUALLY believe are what makes the best event and what doesn't
Sad to see the old bias against newcomers is still alive and well and some people still believe they are better than others and their votes are more important because they have been playing the game longer
And to be blunt- one event was universally clamored for months before it happened. One event had characters that were constantly being requested. One event had clear cut system for winning the prizes. One event had the fewest number of valid complaints that weren't rooted in jealousy: Stonecutters. - Stonecutters is my all time favourite, with the Halloween events all tied for second place :D
- Stonecutters first, with halloween 2013 a close second. I started in the summer 2013 and that was my first event..so fond memories....although would love to have been around for whacking day.
- Equal 1st - Halloween 2013: good prizes, introduced community prizes mechanic, chance for plenty of donut bonuses (my spreadsheet says I got 17x 3 donuts, & that included 2 weeks of o'seas holiday with no game time!!). Bad - event quest & prizes were collected within the first week or so.
Equal 1st - Stonecutters: great new mechanics (daily quests, random tasks for character groups, mystery quests from parchment), plenty of donut prizes at finish (got 6x). Bad - prizes were a bit lackluster (all the same skins with same tasks).
3rd - Whacking Day: awesome prizes, first with a currency tally (instead of "buying" prizes with currency). Bad - harder for newer players or those with <100 friends on list.
*Voted for Halloween as SC already has heaps of votes. :P* - I'm obviously in the minority on this, but Clash of Clones was my favorite event. I loved being able to visit random towns and use the "cheaters" to blow up castles with ridiculously high levels. I do think the developers missed a lot of opportunities to tie the event into the Simpsons' world -- at least they got Boxingham Palace right.
Stonecutters was a huge frustration for me because I was relatively new and playing anonymously. I ran myself ragged trying to complete all the daily tasks and still didn't earn enough to win the big prizes like the table or Satan's Anvil.
